I just saw this movie in theatres, its pretty cool. That would of been so cool to have in the movie. The scene is wierd because the rest of the movie isn't really like that, especially the part with the sppitting up blood. Well different from the american version anyway.

i'm not surprised that this was deleted from the movie. it absolutely makes no sense that a whole bunch of thais would be in that part of china at that period. since the dubbing was in thai, probably this scene was intended for release in thailand only.

japanese does sound sexy, from all that anime I've watched.
But mandarin pronounced well without some weird accent is supposed to be very expressive as well, so I consider it a tie.

cantonese though sounds like some drunken backwater appalachian yodeling, which is where all the "ching chong ding dong" stereotype originates from.

This is from the specail release in Thailand showing the deleted scene, hence the Thai dubbing.

Somluck Kamsing won the 1996 won the Gold Medal for featherwieght boxing in the 1996 Olympics.

I saw the original mandarin version, and I can't imagine anywhere where it would fit in and make ANY sense or help advance the plot. NOWHERE would it fit in. not to mention it was a crap fight nonetheless!

I can speak cantonese, mandarin, english and a whole host of other dialects and I cannot understand what they are saying, I have to agree that its either Thai or Vietnamese or some language around the region...now for the anger...DAMNIT WHY WAS THIS CUT OUT FROM THE ORIGINAL MOVIE!
