Fact: It is not the alcohol that gives you the hangover, it is the excess of chemicals in what you drink that does.
Solution: Don't buy cheap alcohol, it was never made to be cheap and drunk in excess.

And it's true, high quality malts are used to create Scottish Whiskey. That is why it's the best around.

yep boldfart we use barley for the malt. In north america they just made do with the grains they had, same as the scots and irish did in their home countries. The asians fermented rice to make drinks like Sake and in the caribbean they used sugar cane to make rum.
It was probably the native americans' 'firewater' that made the new irish/scottish settlers realise they could make their old whisky from corn.

Batman: I've been to the Jack Daniel's distillery and the tour guide informed me that they are required to spit it out, or else you'd have 10 drunk tasters around lunchtime. :D

Oh, and Jack Daniels' malt is made from barely as well.
