As an alcoholic who atm has hit rock bottem and gets hammerd like.. every 12 hours atleast I can definatly say this is deep shit! Almost made me cry.. amazing post, not sure where you found it but it owns..

^ Now do you consider yourself an alcoholic or a "heavy drinker?" I drink everyday and have missed only one day of drinking in just over the past 6 years and that was only because I had the flu so bad I could not drag my ass to the liquor store to pick up a bottle. I do drink everyday but don't get drunk everyday. Hell, I am as a matter of fact drunk right now but this is kind of my normal state. Anyways I figure I can drink as much as I do because I have a lot of Irish blood pumping through my veins so I drink not because I want to but because that I what I am made to do. Rock-N-Fuckin-Roll.

I like to drink. But I do it behind closed doors and go on the Internet to keep me entertained like the Fat German kid. When someone starts rambling on like this it gives the vodka a chance to kick in and I fall asleep. That's why I don't go to bars. Far be it from me to agree with Ninj4 but I also have a bit of a drinking problem, I wouldn't call myself an alcoholic, but I am on that road. Ninj4 wasn't boasting about it, he was saying how he can emphasise with Mewes on his battle against his addiction.

Btw guys, hes not an alchoholic. He was heavily addicted to heroine. He was constantly in and out of rehab between the filming of all the movies except clerks i believe and about the time jay and silent bob strike back he was finally off the junk, hence his alter-ego jay was sober in clerks 2.

This shouldnt be on here. THough rare this isnt something that should be shared. On the other hand its probably Jay and Silent Bob fucking with us.

I drank for years. One day woke up and went for a run and stopped cold turnkey. My family was my sole reason in quitting. When I finally realized it was affecting them more than myself I just quit. Made a conscious decisision to quit.

BUT, I will drink on special occassions Talladega, weddings and New Years. I could drink a case of beer in one night now be lucky to keep a 4 cans down.
