Yeah you know I don't know why they don't do that in those Gulf coast states.
Just put the houses and mobile homes on big floats or logs and when the water comes in they have a house boat and just have motor boats to get around town.
just put in some pilings and tie them with some rope very simple very easy.

^Louisiana is a Gulf Coast state. In fact that's where Katrina and Rita hit last year. This area is about 1/2 between the point where both storms hit. It is about 40 mile from the coast.

Yea I live in a place that was struck hard by Rita. Close to us there is a parish called Cameron that was damn near completly wiped out. We recently slaughtered one of their schools in football because they dont even have a field to practice on.
