Second Amendment Rights Suspended in New...

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, FEMA went door to door and confiscated everyone's firearms, regardless of whether they were leaving the area or not. This is a direct infringement on our 2nd Amendment right to bear arms. And the worst part is that during this chaos the most effective way to protect your property from looters was with the use of a gun.

Those servicemen who took the oath to support and defend the constitution of the United States, now guilty of breaking thier oath, and their duty, and because they were ordered to.

Who gave that order? That's what I want to know. Because whoever gave it, gave an unlawful order, and every serviceman who obeyed it, even knowing that it was an unlawful order, could be courtmartialed under the UCMJ, and the posse comitatus act. No order can be a lawful order if it does not come issued upon the authority to act placed on the military by the constitution.

Needless to say, I would not have surrendered my liberties as easy as those servile peasants in that video.

Do you remember how these (_+_) fu@ks from NEW O were shooting at copters and police officers .....The police has every right because stupid ass people from there cant control them self or know how to act around other humans and what is worse they are bringing it to my city Houston crime is up in houston like 30 % . people are moveing out from places in town where they are moveing in. This is the start of the US goverment taking away your basic constitutional rights. well actually its been happening for a while what with the patriot act ect, and it wont stop there. The world is headed full speed into the New World Order, this means full control for a central goverment. this is also the case here in the UK. they are trying to introduce ID cards that we will have to carry with us at all times or face imprisonment. and they also want to put GPS Transmitters in our cars to track our every jurney. soon all the unions will merge together, african union, american union, european union ect. it really sucks eh?... we are going to be sheep or as the illuminati call us sheeple.

Wow,.. good thing I didn't go to New Orleans. My ass would be court-martialed for disobeying those orders. I mean seriously, the military "ARE NOT FUCKING POLICE OFFICERS" we are not meant to do thier jobs. Helping break up riots is a little in the grey area, but I suppose in an extreme situation it could be justified.

^Actually, those patrolling the streets were National Guard. They belong to the state and can be used as law enforcement in the event of an emergency.

I think the police had every right to disarm people walking the streets with weapons but going into someones house and taking their guns was way over the top. The police were getting fired at but not from homeowners, from thugs in the streets.

Whats be big deal about giving up your guns? I mean if no one has a gun, no one can be shot. It´s that simple. Oh, o.k. i fogot the knifes and katanas everyone has in his place.
But realize that the iraqis, afghanis and all the other people fighting against european and american soldiers out there, do the same as the people in NO. The protecting what they have and what they are. So do you want to leave them the guns and exposives, to fight the "NWO" (which are at the moment american and allied soldiers)? They should have disarmed the blacks. As racist as that sounds, it was the poor black people causing problems with guns not upper middle class white people who were trying to protect their homes and property from the poor black trash that festers in New Orleans.

Neither the Excecutive nor the Legislature has the Power to declare martial law in the United States. If you guys were looking for a cause du jour to impeach president Bush, then I think that you have a clear case right here that will resonate with the conservative majority in the United States.

The government has the power to call forth the Militia, but who is the militia? The militia is each of us who owns a gun legally, and they can ask us to enforce and defend the laws of the United States. But! They do not have the Right to suspend the Bill of Rights.

The President is responsible for the actions of those national guardsmen, maybe other people up the chain of command, but you cannot just take people's guns. They should sue! Thats a civil rights violation. Bullshit!
