I find it hilarious that they don't have a clue why this happens... lol :P

Think about this one guys, one word, Evolution. It is neccesary on an evolutionary basis for certain species to be able to become frozen and then come back to life after the temperature warms up. Frogs aren't the only life forms that can do this. Insects can as well as other small reptiles. This is why when the Earth went through its' ice ages, life continued on.

As for why the frog internally defrosted before it's outside, it's simply because it is cold-blooded and takes in heat from the sun and stores it.
