Some dude manages to peel a raw egg (I think) then puts it in a microwave, it nearly blows the door off.

There is an inner membrane to eggs that he must have peeled around. It is really hard to do, but it can be done. I used to make egg salad sandwiches all damn day, I know all about them.

You could boil the egg for like 30 seconds or so then dip it in ice water. The shell will come off much easier then you would have a cooked portion surrounding the yoke maybe a 1/4 inch thick.

Either I've missed something, or that's just a hard boiled egg. Simply boil the egg for long enough, and the yolk goes into a more solid form, and it's no longer runny. Then you can peel the shell away.

Uhh, Hmm, whoever said there is a bigger explosion when you use an egg with the shell, you're wrong. I put a full egg in the microwave, and it didn't even effect the door. It just blew up, spraying egg everywhere. Should the egg have been hardboiled? Because it was a raw egg, straight from the refridgerator.

I tried that when I was a kid with just a regular ol' egg. (In my friend's kitchen.)

It blew the door open just that that, but it spread a fine powder of almost-vaporized egg all over the place.

It took us hours to clean up the kitchen before his mom came home.

It's not a hard boiled egg, hard boiled eggs are.. hard, well harder than the guy's egg. Just under the shell, there is a little membrane. This is what we see in the video.

you could peel an egg that is raw. there is a membrane inside the shell of an egg. sometimes a chook lays an egg without a shell arround it or the shell hasnt fully formed.

anyway the bs part of this was he got what looked like a chook egg from a nest in a tree???????????????????????????

well he boiled the egg for about 1 - 2 mins so the york near the skin of the egg is cooked, then u can peel it off skillfully
