I always kinda knew that something would happen to him... kind of a morbid inevitability... but when I hear what happened, man , it still surprised me. A shot to the heart by a stingray, that would be instantaneously fatal. My heart goes out to the family of any good man and father who is taken from them ahead of his time. He had a passion for his work, so much so that he donated HUGE chunks of his own money to protecting the wildlife. He also had a zeal for teaching the unlearned about every animal he came across. You don't find many people like that, especially nowdays.
RIP Steve Irwin; despite what the lonely, childish haters say, you WILL be GREATLY missed.

I never seen it.. and I think this shapes a perfect image of the way he thought about animals. Tho I would never love some "random" croc (excuse me if he knew the croc all his live) more than I would love my wife.
Anyway, it is really sad thing he is gone now because it is hard to find people actually teaching the whole world about something he loves.

How can you hate on this man?

He's a bolder, braver, more honest person than ANYONE ELSE i can think of. And the argument about him being better with the pope? I don't think thats an argument, i think that there is a level that only a few people can ever reach, these people include the pope, mother theresa and our Steve Irwin. (here's a hater comment...) I HATE how celebrities have so much fucking money and just live rich, it really gives me the shits. Steve wasn't about money, like he said "i want to be remembered for passion, and for conservation." So before you hack on someone who is one of the greatest human beings ever, look at your own pathetic life, what have you done for humanity or the world? Animals have feelings too, and any man who can give as much as Steve did, is a saint in my eyes.

R.I.P you larakin, I'll miss you man.
