Anyway the ref is a cock for that but i think its a rule that when all the players are in the correct half the game must restart no time for wasting in football. its not like the american football where you get to stop every 2 mins.

That was ungentlemanly conduct. A bookable offence in the game. The referee was wrong and should have been given a yellow card and restart the game. Of course that doesn't happen, refs getting cards, but he was wrong. It's as simple as that.
