Yea pretty sure it is real, I don't follow the Bundesliga, but I do know Hans-Jörg Butt of Bayer Leverkusen is used often for pk's and fk's.

As soon as I heard the whistle for a restart I knew it was coming, does seem the ref was quick though, wasn't like Butt was dancing around, he looked to be jogging back and taking fives and didn't seem to really stop.
