^ sorry i jus answered my own question lol, n yer the other control that they made was shit, u can't beat the one at present so why change a winning formula? i like the touch sensitive R/L 2 buttons. agree with raredaredevil, complain about evryfin haha nice comment.

The only thing that impressed me about that is that you can use SD cvards or other flash meory instead of proprietary Sony Memory Cards. I'd rather buy a X360 and a Wii for the price of one of these.

sure, better graphics are nice. but beautiful scenery isnt what games should be about. if you want beautiful scenery theres this thing called nature.

i really dont know much about pc gaming, so i may be wrong about this next part, and if i am im sure someone will tell me, along with a bunch of comments about how im a dumbass and what not. arent most pc games only FPS? if thats truly the only kind of game you like and will play, then go for it. but if youre like me and like other kinds of games consoles are a better choice.


for those talking about the technology not being good for another few years and about how much it will cost, just wait those few years for when it will be cheaper. blu ray will most likely have taken over by then and regular cds/dvd will be a thing of the past. remember cassettes?

for me, after i wait a few years for it to be cheaper, the controller being the same basic design will be a plus. its easier to get used to controls when you have been using the same kind of controller.

^^WTF? UR WRONG!! In my opinion FPS' are the best type of games out there, but i still love me some ZELDA. On the PS3, i think its not gonna do well at all because of the price. This shit has to sell to the masses and i think the price is gonna fuck that up. BluRay is useless too. 360, Wii, and PC's are gonna have better success hands down.

wow you folk are really oblivios to the fact that bluray disks will soon be taking over the place of dvds... the same thing as the dvd taking over the cd... personally being in the media business i belive that it will prove to be a valuable asset in terms of storage. the games will be more evolved due to the boosted storage space. The need for Bluray disks will arise maybe not now but soon... rite now a basic bluray player is 1000$ -1200$ depending on the brand. the ps3 is cheaper than that and has all the functions mentioned before. being narrow minded about this isn't gonna help out.

any ways as a side note... did you guys know that the playstation was designed for nintendo by sony but nintendo didnt like the whole idea of using cds for their games... so sony took a shot and released the playstation. lol i bet the nintendo people are kicking eachother over that now...

Why is there always this console war that goes on... and why does the PC always get brought in? Hardware specs, size, controllers, game genres, price...

What happened to gamers just enjoying games? A real gamer can appreciate the game regardless the console. Good games and bad games get released on every system. It's video game developers' faults, not Sony, Nintendo, or Microsoft's fault (unless they release the game).

Price is an issue as always, but price drops... just don't regret on missing out games ;)

PS3 is gonna lose the console war. Sorry guys, it's gonna happen. Fucking $600 for a console with shitty blue-ray and a queer controller isn't gonna be better once they "make full use of the chip." Wow the graphics on this game are great, too bad I can't feel the rumble of the battlefield or move cause this controller is a pile of wet shit.

Plus you people are saying the PS3 will have better games later....well guess what...they don't have that kind of time. The 360 is already pumping out games and consoles with imo, a great system so far. Of course, I sprung for the $400 one.

Even the Wii is doing something unique with that new style of controlling. Wtf does the PS3 have? No rumblepack and a fucking blue-ray. Folks, just buy a 360 or a Wii, or both, it's the same price anyway for both as for a PS3.

You can get great games for 2 systems at once instead of paying $700 for a console that won't get good until "3-4 years later when they make use of the chip."

Graphics don't make a game awesome automatically. It's all gameplay. I'll play pitfall on my atari before I play a shitty game on a PS3 that only has good graphics.

wow PS3 button.. complete rip off of the xbox 360 guide button.. same with the pressure buttons of L2 and R2.. fuckin faggets waiting for 360 to come out and stealing everything. and now they want to charge people atleast 600-700 dollars. and thats not with the price of extra controllers, games and memory sticks.

The graphics do affect the gameplay believe it or not. For example, graphics can allow for greater and larger environments.

This isn't just a simple upgrade of the PS2.

Let's take some of Hideo Kojima's ideas as another example. You can always make everything prettier but what if you don't just make things prettier but also make it "alive." I hear MGS4's engine will supposedly make the environments more randomized and will change by itself (somehow).

Also, why the fuck do you care about the fucking vibration so damn much? It's not that much of a fucking deal.
