One thing i noticed when i downloaded the High res version was the flak ball still has a smiley on it :D

and i still play the better original version (UT made in 1999) everynight and its still awesome.

What is the point of the high detail water outside the level ? So we can look out at lag ?

Looks like a piece of shit to me. Another game that thinks it can update the graphics and call it a new game. Doesn't even look that much better graphics-wise, but I'm sure it will run like a piece of shit on pc's that can run 2k4.

all this kind of games are the SAME! Aim and shoot, nothing else, on this plane this UT2007 looks awesome, the best of this game are the vehicle, love hou "alien" looks that 3 leg spider...

uh...behind in graphics??? the unreal engine 3 is the hot graphics engine at the moment...TONS of other titles not yet released are using this engine...look at some screenshots...certainly not behind

Just a note to the people complaining about reskinned weapons. Quite a few weapons are now trademarked to ut. The rocket launcher, flak cannon, shock rifle and link gun have all been in all the unreal games. No reason for that to suddenly change.

to those who might not know, this is coming out for PC and PS3. There's also rumours flying around that interoperatability can occur between them! meaning console users can play against keyboard and mouse users... obviously we'll know who'll win xD

This isnt just like all the rest of the UT's, the double skip jump loop the loop jump has been nerfed, which is really good so say goodbye to RSI and hello to face-to-face close combat! :D

I'm looking forward to these new alien vehicles too :) makes a good change from all the humanoid ones we see everyday in usual games
