Yea they're quite common in England. I remembered seeing something like this before, in Snatch Sol and Vinny try and rob a betting parlor; the woman hits the security screen and traps Vinny up on the ceiling. Then once she lets it down and puts it back up they try to push a pull door open and think they've been locked in, until Tyrone comes and opens it for them.

Those screens have to suck for the people outside, like tellers are safe and all but what about the people trapped on the other side with the robbers.
