He knows the roads .. could have even made that fence .. the cop don’t know what the guy knows .. easy as that .. the road is loyal to whoever knows it best .. that cop probably has to cover hundreds of miles of road ..

The way the guy knew he could do a 180 @ that point .. no other traffic .. perfect conditions .. when I lived up on the mountain in PA we shook the cops without any trouble because we knew the roads & they didn’t .. we knew where tracks were they didn’t .. I remember turning & just lookin @ them going round in circles lookin for us ..

That driver just knows ever patch of ground a car can travel on in that area .. fuck you cops . you had no good reason to stop that car .. to my eye .. so fuck off & spend you time with assholes who don’t know how to respect the people who have to live with them ..

He went around the fence and just missed clipping it I think. The real question is what was past the fence, and where did the fence end? I would like to see that spot in the daytime to see where the fence ends and if there's a dirt road or a wooded area past the fence. Then you would know if it's a ghost car or just a damn good driver.

i dun think the cop assumed that the fence was attached to the ground completely and ramming a car thru that isnt easy if the fence is installed correctly... and im sure the cop would drive around the fence if there was a gap... but if u think about it the getaway car was pretty far past the fence by the time the cop got his car turned around, and with the speeds the getaway car was goin it may have driven farther out of few of the camera than we are assuming and maybe an opening in the fence is further down.... and if that is so the cop is just an idoit and made up a ghost story that goes along wiht the video so he had an excuse for not apprehendin the criminal

Yeah the footage of the bmw "breaking down" is from when the bmw stops and does a 180 at the second spike strip. But that doesn't mean they didn't actually catch him... Whatever, I hope he got away like you said...

I think the idea about the fence not being attached at the bottom is about the closest anyone will come to describing what happened...only one problem....when a cop is drving..or anyone for that matter...if they are gonna turn left, right, whatever, you just don't stare straight ahead....so, once that guy turned left to go through/under the fence, the cop had to be watching....so technically you think he'd see a fence fly up in the air....or something l ike that when the car did go under it....and another thing...dont you think if a car was going through a fence like htat...it would have been shaking the hell out of the rest of it?

The fence seems to be built on the ground with cement. Sincerely doubt that you can flip the fence, or drive around it. drove around the fence? - the disappearing lights doesn't seem to be behind the fence but in front of it or on the side of the fence where the cop is (not really sure cause the vid is a bit blurry but the taillight does look like its infront of the fence)

fence is not fixed? (moves out of the way, bends down, car can drive through) - wouldn't the fence be still wobbling or moving a little when it comes back up? or closes?

The netting would not be motionless if a car had just plowed right into it, and I don't think the netting would be flexible enough to move as much as it would have to move to allow a car to pass under it. I know they are flexible but DAMN not that flexible.

Looking at it again its is a chainwire fence with a gap of about 5-6 meters. The wieght of a car will slip under that with no probs at all and springing back like nothing had happend.

My Easy explanation for this, because if you look closely....The far left of the fence is non existent. The marking of the end of the fence is with the large pole/pillar at the end of the fence. The cop was simply not agile enough to maneuver the turn tight enough to get around the fence.

This Sci-Fi Channel Commentator just cut the film short to not show you the stupid cop reverse and go around the fence. Go check some chain link fences the end support is always larger and taller than the rest of the fence.....this is my explanation for it.

As far as i could see...it was a Mercury Cougar EDIT: EVEN WORSE A Chevrolet Corsica...and if I was supernatural I would be ballin' in at least a Mustang @ that time a 5.0...lol

you are all some dumb motherfuckers. as far as i saw, not one person mentioned the fact that before the cop turned off the highway towards the fence, he yells "dead end here" twice. so he obviously knew where he was and where he was going. the other thing is, why don't they just trace the plates back. they're visible in the first part of the video, not on the streaming video we watch but more than likely on the original police video. maybe then we can all find out if this was a really "ghost car"

Ok, cops are not dumb, anyone could see the fence pole there, and the fence continues down the road, he swerved into a field barracaded by a fence. Also look at how fast that shitty ass car goes. Its crazy. Those Police Cruisers have 400hp and could maintain 140-150 easily if needed, that guy either has to have nitrous, or something, also look at how blurry he gets right when he takes the turn before vanishing into the night through the fence. Its odd, why cant ppl just accept the paranormal?

Also if you pause the movie when the driver is visible he doesnt look human. Its creepy.... The cop also mentioned DEAD END HERE, so he has to know the roads, I looked up their Police Department and city, its a small town, so I doubt he doesnt know the roads and have to patrol 100 miles of roads. Cops also dont give up that easily. If he didnt wanna continue pursuit then why did he chase him when he vanished the first time?
