Every act of discipline is never wasted .. its not what you do its the fact that you are able to apply your mind to any task no matter how imposable it may seem . for example the fellow in the first post .. obviously lets his desire to succeed in doing the act override his need to take his time & work @ it .. give it time concentrate don’t give up ..

The person doing this can probably face almost any task in a disciplined & intelligent way .. because they have learned how to quiet there haste & insecurities & apply themselves .. anyone who can control here body & teach it how to do things can learn how to do things faster than people who don’t know how to control themselves .. this is common sense .. learning is one of the fundamental skills we humans need to develop in life . it’s a skill like any other that takes practice & dedication ..

The pen is just a prop .. the real show is in the persons ability to make a dormant object dance .. with practiced balance & rhythm ..

^^ Chinup, you are a very intelligent guy. It's just a shame theres so few people like you on these forums. Anyone who calls these 'pen spinners' losers or fags, is purely just jealous of the fact they have no talent or admirable skill that they can show off to their friends.

Well, I can do several pen tricks myself, nothing at this level however, and they took me years to learn so it looks as flawless as possible. If you're wondering where I learned some of my stuff, it was all back in high school in team debate, and almost everyone in debate did these pen tricks.

I also helped drive my 9th grade eco teacher damn near fucking insane (there were 4 of us just learning then) and we would constantly drop the pen on the table and all she would hear all class is CLICK CLACK CLICKTY CLACK. It was fun though, you eventually just do it without thinking which is sad.

Anyway though, Chinup is right, all these tricks are the product of dedication and skill.
