If you want gore, go to www.rotten.com or www.ogrish.com. That is real gore. This here's tame, Discovery Channel material. But it's cool though.

I love the people on this site....they make me laugh with their "macheesemo".

I've had piranha's for years. They are scared lil fish and flee from anything larger then they are. Even in more than a few they skitter away, now if something appears to be having a struggle, or bleeding, that is a different story. But generally you can swim with these fish. Watch them in an aquarium sometime. They are constantly changing direction, why? Because they don't trust each other, hence the reason each one damn near has a chunk missing from it's body. Skittish!

And Keldrat........you need a lead pipe to the head..you're an idiot.

I enjoyed the part where the Piranha's suffered from suffocation, or were eaten.

I always wanted piranhas...
It would make feeding time SO interesting.
But it'd be a bit freaky to sleep in the same room, even if it IS in a tank.

i actually saw a special on piranhas (thats how u spell it in portuguese) back in Brazil and the researches said that they still don't know what makes them go crazy. animals without any cut or scratches have been reduced to bone, at the same time, dropping a bucketfull of blood on them does nothing. they are kinda big they can reach 10+ inches. while ussually they don't pose a threat to humans, except on draught season, when a large amount of piranhas are forced to occupy a limited space. they are also very unstable, sometimes they turn on themselves for no apparent reason... they can reduce a WHOLE cow/horse to BONES in close to 20 minutes.

i have two redbellied 8 inch long piranhas. they do make entertaining pets but don't usually like to have spectators watch them eat. unless you starve a piranha they are not dangerous at all. i have never had one snip at me in 6 years of cleaning the tank. realistic infromation is out there about these fish as far as how they really behave, which isn't that mean. I'd rather swim in a river with piranha than be put with a pissed off pitbull.
