u serious logan? i think its passed man, it was one of those films that had a big hype with some tv adverts but never really got a good chance in the cinemas but it is truly awesome, i saw this film i think end of may early Juneish
and as u know the U.K gets some stuff roughly around the time the states does so i assume its passed

basically. this movie is like all asian fighting movies. while the fighting looks really crazy and nice, the story is crap.

No KillQ, this is just Jet Li's last "epic" movie, like "Hero" (another great movie). He'll still be doing films though.

Its Jet Li's last action movie. And it will be playing in North America starting September 22, 2006.

As for the comment on story, I can't say about this movie as I haven't seen it yet. But as far as Asian action movies go; some are quite mindless (just action), while others have some good stories. Problem is, many of them are created for asian audiences so alot of the story and even comedy is culturally dependent. In other words many foreigners may get confused because they don't know enough about the culture.

This movie is based off of a true story on a person called Huo Yuanjia (c.1867-1910). He is one of the legends in Chinese martial arts (wushu) history.

This is a really good movie with a great story. Please don't bash it if you haven't seen it or don't know the history of the story.
