Here here Davo. But the Wii is the only exception (hopefully) it will be better than PC for FPS. I guess we won't find out until we try it.

But this close quarters combat looks like just 1 (and not very fun) new feature. All that happened here was they showed off how the computer can try and choke you with the gun, and you alternate tapping 2 buttons. What he did after that was just normal bash. Bash has never been good for anything except embarassing the enemy. Firing always works better.

Vega: While I am looking forward to Wii, and I do expect it to be better than analogue stick controllers for FPS - it will still never live up to the keyboard/mouse setup for these games.

If you have seen the Red Steel demos then you can tell how slow and gimpy it is to turn around and aim. (less gimpy to aim than GayStation or Xbox probably, but it is far and away NO MOUSE!)

CoD games would be best w/out the gimmicky shit like this close "combat" of pusing L and R fast... or the gimmicky tank missions etc. Just give me a gun and let me FPS these damn krauts!

No PC release? That's silly!
Once they release a mini running platform , like a DDR pad, for FPS games... and the ability to use a light gun for consoles then I may consider buying a consle FPS... but until then, the FPS scene belongs on the PC.

That would be so much fun and provide a good physical workout. Running on the spot, turning and so on.. to control your character's movements, and then using a gun to aim and fire.
