Helio Air Television

Is this gonna be the future of T.V.? I guess they're already selling these things.

Being that its condensed air...... I don't think it will sell very well in hot climate countries where fans are frequently used in homes :/ ........

Well look at it this way, if you look at the first ever tv to go on sale it probably had a four inch screen and a tiny fuzzy b/w picture in the middle barely even visable, and now look at tv's so i think this could become in the future.

Ps lcd and plasma screens have already been replaced, (because they'r awfull!!) But it will still be a year or two until the new tech completely replace's it, they'v gotta make they'r money first!!

Please stop comparing this to the first tv/computer etc. with the exxpectation that it'll get better. This actually IS like the first tv. It's a back projection system, way simpler than a cathode ray tube! The only difference is that it's projected onto a steam/mist. and will you need to top it up with water everyday? The only technology here is the flashy projector, which had a much nicer image than the actual projected image. This will be dead on it's ass by the end of the year

seems like it might run into problems having a fan/ac on in the same room, i think OLEDs seem much more practical and likely

@joekak: 20 years? it's almost 40 years old.

Amazing invention, but as with all major steps in technollogy, this will take a decade or two at best to become perfected.
