New Contender In The Console Wars

The newest contender in the console wars is the Evo: Phase One by Envizions. It has Sapphire Radeon HDMI X1600 Pro graphics, clock speeds of 500MHz (core) and 800MHz (memory), 128MB of DDR3 memory, a customized liquid cooling system, digital video recording capabilities, and a built-in biometric fingerprint reader. Priced at $679.99, it's more expensive thatn any other contender in the current console wars.

Same thing happened in 2000, some small company made a system to compete with the big 3 but yea, didn't work out I guess... Same things probably gonna happen to this one, especially since its so expensive.

Anyway, the PS3 still sounds more powerful, it has 7 processors that equal to 213ghz (2.13 terraflops) and it uses the new reality synthesizer graphics card, also it uses the blue ray CD which can store up to 50gb of space which will make for interesting games.

The worst specs, the highest price, a totally useless feature (fingerprinting?) and pretends it needs liquid cooling for a 500mhz processor? My old compaq had a 500mhz and didn't even have a heatsink and it worked fine.

Yeah I remember the one from back in 2000. The games were 100 dollars each, it was supposed to revolutionize console gaming, and then nothing. that was it. I wonder if it was jus' a hoax. (though i doubt it cause it was in a gaming magazine that i saw it in).

yes this is not going to come out, it will fail just like every attempt for the phantom (infinium labs still claim that it will be released later this year, but they are like $80 million in debt).
and yes, the controller is just a ps2 controller...
