How long ago was this taken? I didn't see him in his Real Madrid shirt. Anyways, he was at his peak in 2002 but unfortunately he's gotten older and slower. It happens to everyone, but hasn't Cantona gotten fat!!!

I don't disagree that the World Cup started badly for Ronaldo. He is not the player he once was. But, in my opinion, Brazil's key players didn't show up.

Ronaldo played poorly in his first couple of games, but came into form against both Japan and Ghana. In the quarterfinals against France, he wasn't in form, nor were any of Brazil's players.

Where was Ronaldinho that whole tournament? Adriano; only five shots in five games? Kaka was the best of the so called 'Magic Quartet' that actually played alright, but he still didn't play the way he needed to. Ronaldo could end up getting the most criticism, but he played just as well or better then any of Brazil's offensive players.

Robinho should have seen more time, as he was a special player in this tournament.

Ronaldo's performance in this World Cup doesn't even compare to that of his performance in the past; but that comment is significant for almost all of Brazil's best player; Ronaldinho, Kaka and Adriano.
