THe problem with these old fossils is that they're not being "advised" by their grand kids. They're being advised by 60 something CEOs who DO understand the internet and are pushing for rules that fuck the rest of us over.

LIke blocking p2p networking. Slowing down sites like spikedhumor so it can't compete with google video or YouTube. Slowing Myspace down so that (for example) AOL's new net working service which will "mysteriously" run faster gets all the business.

Creating "tiers" of service creates a playground of corporate collusion that no small guy could ever hope to take part of.
