Hoekstra: Bush Hiding More Unchecked Spy...

The New York Times published a letter from Republican Representative Pete Hoekstra to President Bush. Hoekstra, who is chairman of of the House Intelligence Committee, criticized Bush for hiding surveillance programs from Congressional oversight. On this morning’s Fox News Sunday, Hoekstra said that a whistleblower came to him with several more spying operations that were in danger of being abused without oversight.

Oh, but Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, and the president all feel that this whole "War on Terror" gave them a complete free reign and blank check to do whatever the fuck they want to as long as they can convince people that it's a "National Security" issue. I'm grateful that we have honest and non-partisan congressmen like Mr. Hoekstra that don't clam up at strong arm administration tactics and actually understands the whole "Checks and balances" part of government. Of course Dubya doesn't, he was probably high on coke the day they taught that in college...

Yeah.

Someone should remind those fools that they aren't above the law. Someone should remind them hard.

Oh man - that video has to been seen - just as a lesson on how to speak well in front of a camera. I'm not referring to the lady reporter in the first half - but that committee chairman in the second part.
