Seriously, has there been a more accomplished bassist in the last 20 years?

Fuck knows, but Mani from The Stone Roses & Primal Scream is probably a close second to Needles....I mean Flea.

Needles! I remember that shit.Cliff burton was a legend in his own right, agreed. also in the last 20 years were Jaquo Pastorious, Good ole Victor Wooton, and Les Claypool.I've never heard this Mani you speak of, but I'll check him out.
