Well, there was a video awhile back showing how he does the "levitation" trick, by slipping a leg out of his pants and standing on nearby objects like chairs and brick fences etc.... The camera angle hides the act, so it looks real.
The ones where he is standing in the street, without anything nearby to stand on, well, I don't know. Most probably wires. I know of a website which sells instructional videos and equipment which teach you how to use wires to pull off similar public "levitiation" tricks, but they cost a couple of grand.

Yeah Wr3ck, I agree. In the coffee shop or whatever it is, the people standing in front of him must have been actors, because he was using the leg-slip trick and standing on the chair in front of him. They would have seen him doing it.

S'ok relax, just send him over here. We'll suspend him in a glass box over the river thames for 40 days where kids can throw eggs stones or paint and scare the bejezuz out of him with laser pens. He also has an excellent chance of starving this time, he's nowhere hear as porky as blaine was.

And if that dont work, we'll wall him up inside a glacier with no food or heat - or better still, try and drown the fucker in a big goldfish bowl.

We'll televise it for you as usual and also promise better results this time, that blaine bastard was nigh on impossible to kill... in the end we just took him into the woods and had him torn apart by pitbulls.

there are a number of devices.. besides wires that can enable u to do smaller levitations..and no.. angel doesn't work alone...he has said that in his television series;) look around at magic stores online and stuff.. all of david blaines tricks are the same idea;)
