Its the same as having a fear of heights, or snakes, or spiders.
You cant control what you are afraid of, unless you confront your fears, which is usually very hard to do.

Personally, I have a fear of drowning. I wont swim at all.
My friends laugh at me in the summer, but I still wont do it.

Pickles are the same thing.

(This is assuming this is all real mind you, Im not sure if Maury is staged or not, but I dont think it is.)

people who think shes just a stubid bitch and a idiot for fearing them, needs an ass fuck. Because that is a Fobia at its worse. There is no rational reason, they just fear the object they fear. It is a decease if you might think. I fear hights. My EX girlfriend was affraid of trains.

Thing is that heights, trains, snakes, water, spiders and such all have a element of danger to them. They're all something that have potential death associated with them.
Pickles don't besides the same fear of choking one might get from any food product. I don't mean to sound insensitive, but a fear of pickles is pretty ridiculous.

Even a fear of clowns has more logic than pickles, as a child might have been molested or frightened the hell out of by a dude in a clown outfit.
