Dosn't suprise me one bit, not at all. Funny thing is we as americans sit here in our homes and don't give a rats ass about what our government is doing. The only people who give a shit are crooks them selfs. Trust was never evident in our system nor will it ever be.

People sit back and turn a blind eye towards politics and say "o i don't like politics, or politics bor me. My voice don't make a difference" They think that watching the news is satisfactory and true. Yet the media in it self brainwashes people to another level.

People need to understand that these so called leaders are only men, and not some devine magical existence. ?

So true Yarray.

How much "news" coverage did this get? Hmm none.

The cititzens of our country are decent people, I know people may not think so but overall we are. But we have become pathetic and completely stagnite in our thinking and questioning of what happens in our government.

The public was bamboozled on a level never seen before. We should have made it clear that Afghanistan be dealt with first. we should have waited until victory was gained there, but now that region is facing a surge in violence lately. They knew we didn't put enough people on the ground in Iraq to properly secure; to say that the insurgencey was not forseen is a poor excuse now. I mean we are the GODDAMN U.S. We all pride ourselves on our all powerful military. Now we're fighting two wars.....

I'm curious, how many of you would like to see Bush and Chenney
impeached and stand trial for war crimes?
I am a Republican and Bush scares the wholly crap out of me. His
arrogance that the Constitution of the United States is flawed and that
he, a B-/C+ student at Yale, is going to fix it is horrifying. Also the
Christian Right scares me. They have the ear of the most powerful man
on Earth. I know that it's far fetched but if there was or is going to be
an Armageddon Bush appears to be thier man.
Finally, regarding the citizens of the United States, yes I think that in
general we are good people. We subsidize poor countries and protect
others. We are a moral people although we have our loonies. I'm
curious why the good presidents are asassinated but not the bad ones?
Lincoln, Kennedy, etc.

To but honest there is not much we can do. Just share these videos with anyone you care about, because honestly pictures speak louder than words. Just hope during the next election, be it senate, government, or president, we try to make the best choices possible.

I'd love to see Bush impeached, won't happen though. Dems do not want to give the Republicans any firepower for our next president, who in my mind is sure to a Dem. On top of that, they couldn't get enough votes anyway. The marjority of the US is apathetic and have there priorities mixed up. They care more that Clinton got his dick sucked than about Bush starting an illegal war that has killed thousands of people. I said it back in 2000 to my father, (who voted Nader, which given the election, he regrets and feels like he helped Bush gain office) lots of people that voted for Bush are going to feel like it was a big mistake one day.

i agree with most of you so far. THERSOM... that apathetic attitude is why tens of millions of americans don't vote at all. more people voted on american idol this year than for any US president in history. that is horrid. i know it's discouraging but you can't let it get you down. 5/5

A lot of people don't like either parties and feel like voting independent would be wasting a vote and/or not worth the effort. The U.S. needs to have run-off voting. That way you can vote for the candidate of your choice (not the lesser of 2 evils)

I don't know if any of you have seen the "Darkside" show by Frontline on PBS, but it talks more in detail about Cheney's connection with the creation of intelligence to convince people to invade. It's a good look at it.

@adaho

What was illegal about it? It's not like the President just said, "We're goin' to war."

Congress passed a resolution authorizing the President to go to war. It passed the in the House 296-133 and in the Senate 77-23. Am I missing something here or are all the people who voted for it also law-breakers?

*edit* forgot to put my source
