I think it's great how everyone gives microsoft and bill gates so much shit for creating these broken products, when in fact they are so incredibly complex and ingenious that no one person could ever possibly comprehend and master EVERY aspect of the computer. This machine is doing....well...what I'm doing right now, by using on and off switches. It's pretty amazing.
Oh, and I think it's about time that mac supporters should stfu about how easy their shit is. I have to reset my iPod twice daily and feel like putting a hole in my sister's mac whenever she comes over to get me to fix it. Let's face it...computers are extremely complex machines and with anything that complex, no matter how much you spend on it...it WILL have malfunctions and breakdowns: ie- cars, boats, planes, MRI machines and Nuclear reactors(my specialty), EVERYTHING HAS PROBLEMS!!!
Oh, hats off to linux though. They've got a good idea rolling, even though i don't use it:)

If you want a stable and faster operating system, just pick up any one of the numerous free Linux Distros instead of shelling out $1,000 for an operating system.
