Salvia is a powerful hallucinogen that is currently legal in most of the US. It is quickly gaining attention, both positive and negative, and is illegal in Missouri, Louisiana, and Deleware. Soon enough, it will likely be banned across the country, even though it has been scientifically proven to be harmless to the body and completely non-addictive.

If you are interested in trying salvia before it becomes illegal, I currently have a 20x extract (20 times more potent than plain salvia leaves) up for auction on eBay, which will be ending Monday, 6/19/06.

i tried this stuff about 3 years ago when it was just coming around and it aint very nice at all. I tried it in a spliff first but it tastes like shit and once u took a toke u wud know not to try it in a spliff again. After i tried it in a waterbong (the way ur meant to do it) and it was pretty weak. We was using the 10x stuff and we had like 10 - 15 bongs each and still didnt feel any effects. I might consider trying the 20x stuff soon cos they are supposed to have improved the stuff over the last couple of years.
Anyway, i wudnt want to dance round like a asshole tho, i might just stick to the real stuff, not the rip off

Listen to me for what it is worth. Salvia is under serious negative media right now. This is a sacred shamanistic herb that has been used for thousands of years in ceremony and culture. This is not a party drug! Salvia can cause you to be pulled from reality into frightening ego shattering experiences. (Real out of body experiences.)

Do not post videos of yourself or your friends "Getting all fucked up" on salvia. It only adds to the negative vibes already being thrown at this wonderful, unique plant. Educate yourself on the issues and contact your local congress. Support the side you feel is best but at least know the facts first.

A young man recently commited suicide. He killed himself with carbon dioxide poisoning. Prior to this he had started smoking salvia divinorum. The authorities are trying to blame this kids death on salvia.

When he was sober and had no salvia in his system at the time of his death. So he wasn't under the influence of salvia. He just had a messed up outlook on things.

People get drunk and talk themselves into suicide alll the time. I can still walk down the street and pick up a 12 pack or a bottle of whiskey at my liesure.

So why shouldn't salvia be allowed to remain available. Though I think stricter control on it's distribution should be enforced.

NOT beacuse I disagree, only because the general populas does not know about Salvia, thats why it has stayed out of the lime light for this long, Don't fool yourselves Salvia is OLD! The more light we bring to this the more likely that it will become a controlled substanced and will turn illegal... Realization is control.

Actually bush is trying to get google and many other internet search engines to give up their back logged files of IP addresses and what those addresses searched for or posted on.

Not too mention if public usage and glorification of "Party Drugs" will do nothing for the case building against salvia. And soon you and your friends can smoke and toke all the more illegally. Thanks for screwing everyone else for your freedom.

I have to give my respect to slartibartfast. He says it much better than I do. I'm not trying to sell this as a party drug or a substitute for anything. I'm simply trying to educate people on the issue, and offer them an experience if they decide to try.

is sacred to those that now how to use it right, like peyote, it is amazing the

oh yes, drugs are sacred...pft. Okay, so I understand you dont want it controled and that it doesn't have negative side effects (maybe? if it isn't in the spotlight you probably wouldn't know...). Not a party drug? So it's a normal drug? I'm confused. Okay, so you don't have to take it with friends...you can take it alone. I don't see how that changes anything...for good or bad. I mean, saying it's for spiritual purposes it just a bad excuse. Use it, I don't care. But I mean, you take it because you LIKE it. I don't see that labeling it as spiritual makes it any better (or worse). That just sounds like a cover. Use it and say you do it because you like it...when so many people who obivously aren't "spiritual" say that's why they use it...that's just dumb. I mean, are you really going to claim to me you use the drug to talk to gods/spirits/whatever? Get real.

Freaky2k, it is dead obvious to me that you have never used a shamanic entheogen. They aren't fun, they don't feel good, and they don't dissolve your problems. If you think the only reason people use drugs is to feel good, then you're dead wrong. But no offense, because I know that it is not possible to understand such things if you have not experienced them.

The reason I use them is exploration of my mind, which is very close to spiritual, except that I don't believe in a spirit. I use them to learn about myself, to dig deep into my head and find out all sorts of things that I would have never had access to otherwise.

LSD / SALVIA are not party drugs because they end up making you think like a mad man. I understand what it is to be a true schizophrenic and never want to experience that again. If you think its cool to abuse these drugs then you are a moron, and do not understand the true nature of the drug. These drugs make you look deep into your soul and find faults at hand.
