I never knew this show existed until I saw Serenity which was a very good movie and one of my favorites. Nathan Fillion does kick ass. Do they not show this show anymore?

The show got cancalled after 11 episodes. The DVD has 14 episodes on it.

It was cancelled because FOX did 2 major things wrong. They barely advertised the show, and they ran the show out of order. They refused to air the 2 hour pilot. Then they ran episode 3 as episode 1, and they continued to run episodes out of order and the auidence had no idea what was going on because of that.

On top of that, the show was VERY expensive to make.

Firefly was an awesome show. Why the morons at fox decided to show the episodes out of order is inexplicable. How can anyone know what is happening when they do something like that. I guess they are used to pointless sitcoms where nothing happens.

Not the best of the scenes from Firefly but anyway it was an awsome series.

The quality is wacthable but remember if you like it, which most certainly you will, buy the DVD of the series, because if there are enough dvd sales then they may make another serinity movie.

Well, remember Family Guy got cancelled, but DVD sales helped revive it. If you like the show (as I do), maybe buying it could help coax FOX to bring it back. (And if you DON'T like it, I oughta kick your arse!)

excellent show...
i live in singapore and saw a clip of serenity the movie on spikedhumor and was hooked

watched all 15 shows and the movie..true class, excellent story telling...
