The thing that is truly disturbing is that scene is actually played out (in a home setting) every day. Not just once, either. We will come off our asses to condemn torrorists that attack to control by fear, but will sit quietly by in front of the TV and listen to the screams of an abused person. Apathy is the worst symptom of a wasted human life, ever.
