Just to clarify some things here...as there seems to be some confusion. As stated, this is from "Chewin the Fat" which is a BBC Scotland television/comedy program. "Fake" erm, do you think so?!?!? It's television dude! Also, as Scots are British, (along with English, Northern Irish and Welsh) there is nothing wrong with calling him a "British" Police Officer. There is however, no such thing as a "British" accent. There are Scottish, English, Irish and Welsh accents, along with their regional "slangs" and variations...but there is no such thing as a "British" accent. I'm Scottish BTW, before anyone asks :-)
