For the people who say "Not all Americans are like this", you guys are probably right. Something similar to this has been done in the Netherlands, the difference is that the interviewer interviewed other Dutch people. They only used the stupid answers in that show, it was hilarious :P

I know its easy to come on here and bash america, but i realy hope for the love of god that most americans arent like that those where some of the dumbest fuck's ever to be interviewed in the history of interviews,EVER.
I could take any 10 year old kid of the street in glasgow and get a better answer than the ignorant stupid ass shit on that clip, i didnt even find it funny, it was more shocking than anything else.

Yes, it is fun to laugh at these bone-heads that speak before they think but the reality is we are all ignorant of a big problem on the horizon, and many seem to miss this point.

As we get closer to Peak Oil, the world will probably hear the war drums of WW III. America is in IRAQ for OIL, this is a no-brainer. If America can not defend and protect the OIL in Saudi Arabia, U.A.E., Iraq, Kuwait...etc, then ALL of our lives will change over night. Our western lives are COMPLETELY underpinned by petroleum; cars, home heating, plastics, agriculture, manufacturing, construction...the list is huge! If you remove OIL, the house of cards collapses. And guess what. The U.S. is not the only one bidding on this black gold. The enormous economies of Japan, India, China and Europe all need this imported OIL for continued economic growth.

So, in the next few years, when push comes to shove, I wonder how many of you will go along with the idea of making it "A BIG glass parking lot"?

This problem has been brewing for years(USA oil peaked in 1972) and I have yet to hear it being mentioned in the news... any news. As a large consuming population, we are all apart of the problem... and there is no substitute for cheap oil kiddies.
