reminds me of a similar kind of sign I saw in Japan while visiting, but it was on a clearly labelled huge sign board meant stating that that was an approved area to stay during an earthquake (big open field) and to help children or those who cannot help themselves during an earthquake.

Read the second post down with "Carlos Mencia" in the title. I never liked Mencia due to his humor, but this article made me very upset concerning his "work."

It's not really funny until you are driving to San Diego for the weekend and all of a sudden get inundated with bright lights and all you can see are these signs of a family sneaking across the freeway.

It's an inside cultural joke if you are not laughing.
