I really hate when people make videos like that. It is so easy to turn a person into something completely different using selective editting. True some of Bush's things have not gone smoothly, but when does war go smoothly. I just think if he hadn't invaded IRaq, there would be people who would criticise Bush for not invading it.

You need to realize that you're living in a modern day Empire. It may work well for you, enjoying the benefits of living within that Empire but your country's actions have hurt and killed many innocent people as well as manipulated world politics for its own gain.

There are people like myself that have been speaking out against your country and its blind, ignorant population (not all but certainly the majority). The resentment towards Amerika has grown exponentially after 9/11. The world population has become galvanized in its opinion of your country and I feel that this is a good thing. I foresee the same bullshit after your elections in 2008, it won't matter which party is installed.

But if the majority of you Amerikans continue to be apathetic towards your country's actions... than there will be no pity for you.

Mate that sounds like every other country. The fact that America makes more headlines than most just shows that people haven't got their own opinion. Its not a black or white matter as it seems like on this thread. How is it Bushes fault that 9/11 occurred. It would have happened sooner or later anyway. Terrorism is something that is there and it will not change no matter how peacewful the govt are.

One more thing swiftrunner, the links I post are really not for "the blinded" such as yourself. These links are for those that have questions about what the U.S.A. has been doing around the world for the last 50-60 years.
I try to post relevant links that are interesting to read and from varied sources. It is rare that I find any posts supporting an opposing view but rather it's the typical "fuck you", "get a life", "guaii is gay" nonsense.

So on that note I'll post a link to a good artcile on Empire, the U.S.A., economies and how they all relate to each other:

And I if you extrapolate that information to today, I think that the U.S. has no intention of paying back the trillions it owes to foreign countries. There are some major battles to be fought within this century and I believe the world map may look alot different afterwards.

Maybe I am to blame for not being perfectly clear on my position or maybe you are purposely misunderstanding me, maybe a little of each.

There is two sides to every argument and anyone on either side of almost any complex argument would be pretty conceited and arrogant to think that they are 100% correct on all points. The truth lies somewhere in between.

I partially agree with some of the points that the anti-American camp make, Bush is a moron and certainly this is not America's finest hour. At the same time this is still a great country to live in and obviously others think so too as we have a hard time regulating the surge of immigrants still wanting to come to America. More than that it's my home so I will always be more likely to speak in favor of America than against it. If that makes me a "blind flag waver" then so be it.

So, clearly stated, I do not oppose guaii's right to free speech I do not oppose his right to his opinion I am not advoctaing censorship and I am not blindly patriotic. I AM expressing MY opinion and I do oppose his methodology which is tired, repetitative and not constructive and which greatly reduces the value of any valid point that he might have been trying to make. I think too much credit is given to guaii. He is not some noble grass roots humanitarian seeking change, he just gets off on controversy. It gets old...

I know that you are super duper smart and you have ALL the answers guaii but not everyone that disagrees with any of your opinions is blinded. If my "vision" is a little less than perfect I think you also have to recognize that you see things fairly one-sided. You seem all too happy to swallow any anti-American argument or piece of media that you come across.
