The snake that bit Jimmy Kimmel was fake.
It was an hoax, infact after this he interviewed the snake expert from his fake hospital bed.
The snake itself was a mechanical snake btw.

does look real, but they would never bring a rattle snake on a stage show like this espeacially in an open cantainer. It's too dangerous and not worth the risk of this kind of scenario. This snake doesn't even look too real as most rattle snakes are half that size. If they had really brought a live snake and he really had got bitten you would have seen the EMPs using a device to try and suck out the poison and delivering antivenin which they would have brought in just in case.
