I agree with *Guaii*. This "relgion" stuff is getting out of hand. Nothing is about spirtuality anymore, just organizations for collecting money at Sunday mass. That's why I quit going, and pretty much gave it up all together. People who take this crap too seriously are people with some sort of mental disorder, or just looking for someplace to belong.

holy shit, i cant belive i'm going to say this but i actually kind of agree with guaii...

except religion doesn't equal a mental disorder. thats a quote from jesse ventura by the way. but it did start as an easy way to control the masses. what better way for a king to get thousands of people to die for him then to tell them they would go to heaven for it. but there are also very good things that come from religion. but if used in the wrong way such as jihad or the crusades then of course its evil.

i'm not saying i dont belive in god or religion i'm just unsure, and i think organized religion isn't the way to go.

The book is an interesting story if it's read as a work of fiction, much like the bible (koran, torah). We all have our beliefs (or disbeliefs) and REALLY nobody gives a shit about them. You don't care about my God and I don't care about your diety of choice, so why can't we agree to leave it at that?
