Sony Playstation E3 2006 Press Conferenc...

Here is the better half of Sony's E3 press conference. The first half sports 20 minutes of music and a black screen which is unskippable. Then they talk about the PS3, revealing nothing new. Then they show Gran Turismo HD, which looks identical to Gran Turismo 4 on the PS2. The second half is much better, where they show more game titles, and they even unveil a new surprise for the PS3. This video also announces release dates, and price points for the PS3.

The controlers are movement sensitive (a bit of a wii rip off) but its all built in. Tipping the controller will tip the (insert moving object/person here). The demo was of a fighter jet, tilting, turning and tipping the controler controls the movement fully.

LOL for all of you who think the motion sensitive controllers are some big brand new innovation I have news for you... I have a Microsoft sidewinder freestyle pro game pad for my computer that is at least five years old and it's motion sensitive. It's a great controller, I love it for games like Mechwarrior and anything where you're flying a plane/spaceship. My point though is that if anything nintendo ripped off MS who probably ripped it off off some other company...

Interesting. They talk about the controller being lighter... If I'm not mistaken I think they lost the rights to have the rumble technology. Seems too coincidental that they unveil this "new" addition.

It may be more powerful than the 360 but online play goes to Microsoft, hence my preference for an Xbox.

Noxious what gave you that idea. I didn't like the Xbox either. I am a die hard Ninentdo fan and always have been. I hate bill gates and microcrap with a passion. Yeah, I know I use a pc with windows but sometimes we have to deal with things we don't like. I however do NOT use IE. I use Firefox which we all know is far superior to that microcrap IE.
