Yesterday, the Armavia Airbus A-320 with 105 passengers and 8 crew members crashed into the Black Sea. Officials say that all 113, including six children, have died.
According to the Emergency ministry, the plane was making a repeat attempt at an emergency landing. The Russian air control agency however, said that the crew had not declared any emergency.
Terrorism has been ruled out, it is thought that the bad weather conditions are the cause of the tragedy. Clouds were as low as 100 meters at the time of the crash.
The plane disappeared of the radar about 6 km from the airport, when the plane made a turn to approach the Adler airport near Sochi, a Russian resort.
Rescue workers could do little more than retrieve dead bodies from the water, while battling the storm. So far about 45 bodies have been recovered.
