This stuff always makes me laugh. If you've ever watched something like ultimate fighting little guys who do martial arts just get slaughtered in seconds my huge guys like this.

Saw an ex martial arts champ last about 10 seconds. The main guy ran in, jumped on him and punched him until he gave in.

Fun clip though. Jet looks a bit of a girl though (sorry girls!)

Jet Li is great and has some amazingly choreographed fight scenes in the 'China' movie serries but . . . .

that fight scene was just about the worst i've ever seen. It was ubelievably awful. Excitement in a cinema fight scene is achieved by bending the rules of physics and relaity as far as imagination will allow without breaking them. That scene just plain ignored that they even exist. Just awful.

always amazes me how anyone can disect a movie or show and still enjoy anything. its a MOVIE, hence it not bound by law to follow any rule of physics. go watch Lifetime or something while the rest of us enjoy the ENTERTAINMENT :P

didnt entertain me i used to like jet li but tony jaa just kicks arse now and its like every other fight seen with small guy an large bold guy but this wasnt done as well the film isnt that good either 2/5

Horrible clip and for a number of reasons

#1 wire-work is not impressive
#2 everything done here i've seen before
#3 anytime you have a fight scene with a huge guy it's usually going to be slow and uninteresting, which it was

As for the bug huge guy, he was the guy Tony Jaa fought in "Tom yum goong". And that fightr was much more impressive. As for the movie Tom yum goong itself. Train wreck of a movie, the only good thing about them were the fight scenes, and some of those were dumb as hell.

youd be surprised how much of the stuff in that movie is real and not wirework, yeah jet li probably couldnt really throw that guy like he does, but when he is doing all the flip kicks and crazy acrobatic maneuvers those are really him doing them, not a wire stunt team. they just wouldnt work in real life.

Eh, that fight wasnt realistic, or even entertaining. someone with muscles like that would not be affected by half teh finesse shots the little dude gave. And even some of those locks and blocks are unrealistic, he could have powered out of those weak things with impunity.

As mentioned before Jet Li has been doing this for a while now and continues to be at the top not only in martial arts movies but in actual competitions as well, let's have any of the nay sayers actually step up to anyone with similar skills as Jet Li and we'll soon find their true color, yellow perhaps. That's my 2 cents...

Damn folks, get a grip of reality! This is entertainment. Were it a real fight, and Jet Li intended to kill that big nobody. He would have done so in 0,2 seconds, which is how long it will take for a well trained Kung Fu martial artist, like indeed Jet Li is!, to react and throw away a leathal punch of about 900 lbs of impact velocity! You think some muscles are some kind of full body armor? Well think again!

And for those saying Jet Li is only an actor for gods sake look him up on Wikipedia for instance! The guy has 15 NATIONAL gold medals in Chinese Wushu (Everything Kung Fu) And several gold medals for spears and chinese broadsword etc. I'll even give you lazy asses a link,
