A cool physics demonstration: when a two dimensional object is vibrated, patterns of waves can be seen. The sand on the plate collects in the nodes, or areas of no motion, of the waves. WARNING - DO NOT PLAY LOUD!

I turned down the volume like 5 times, wtf.
Is that the most annoying thing in the world. besides the sound, interesting shapes the nodes make.
