A cool physics demonstration: when a two dimensional object is vibrated, patterns of waves can be seen. The sand on the plate collects in the nodes, or areas of no motion, of the waves. WARNING - DO NOT PLAY LOUD!

they did this in my class like a week ago and u can really hear it. its the same pitch as on teh computer but its like as loud as a car driving by. we did it was a circular one too

no it isn't as the "2d" your talking about is contained in our "3d" boundry (excluding time i presume 'cos that would make us "4d") ...idiot

...it might be slightly harder to have a "4d" object in "3d" space but not impossible on a quantum scale

To eye, a 2d object cannot be seen by our eyes, it can just be imagined on a logical scale. If something does not have all 3 dimensions, then it cannot exist to our eyes. Retard.
