It's actually amazing to look at the realistic symmetry. I saw a special on Da Vinci's drawing compared to other artists from his time, like night and day.

Wasn't this drawing about the Golden Ratio theory?
About grabbing 2 points in your body, e.g. the length of your leg from the sole to the waist joint, and dividing it by the length of your leg from the sole to the knee joint.
Adding up to the Golden Ratio?

Whatever number you get, is the same number for every single part of your body that you try this equation on.
The sum adds up to 1.618.

You can cleary see the lines where he has performed this equation... The head/neck, arm/forearm, leg/shin, and finally the upper and lower torso... The list still goes on, but those are the only ones I can see.

this isn't the golden ratio, in fact it's a square. the length of your outstretched arms from fingertip to fingertip should be your height from toe to the top of your head. unless of course you're some grossly misshapen person. although da vinci has the golden ratio in his other works, this is not one of them.
