Well they were doing the top ten dunks in actual games, they weren't counting Slam Dunk Contests, where it's a bit easier to pull off cool dunks when you're you don't have anyone trying to stop you.
Post some better dunks, generator.

The last dunk, jumping over someone while they are standing, and they stand 7 ft, and dunking the ball, that is just insane. I'm not sure how tall that guy was, but I swore he stood 7ft something.

And yeah, the US has fallen so far in sports when it involves the world...pretty soon I expect the Jamaica team to beat the US in hockey.

Yeah, Kenny Smith said some pretty stupid stuff but it was still funny. And the dunks were all great, but I think it's just not possible to make a top 10 of dunks of all time. Too many "wicked-sick" ones are just left out. Like a Top 100 or 200 would be nice...

That was a list of the best NBA dunks, and on top you get one from the olympics. Yeah, that didn't count. Any European NBA player would have ripped that guys ass back to the floor though...

When it comes to 115 years of basketball in the US (which was invented here) why are you asking where are the international dunks on this list?

It's an NBA (US league) segment via a US broadcasting company. What do you think you're going to see??

If this were a Top 10 futbol goals from a Euro league via a British broadcasting company, the US would most likely not be in the highlights. And up until a decade ago, a goal on Americans wouldn't count either. ;)

Great dunks! The Darryl Dawkins dunk where he rips the hoop off the backboard is called the Darryl Dawkins Destruction Dunk. heh

The basketball players in the United States are still, individually, the bes in the world. Lack of talent in this country was not a reason the US has not been winning tournaments lately. Better explainations include:
1. Lack of team chemistry, they just threw those guys together and expect them to roll over everyone like in '92 and '96, but the rest of the world has gotten better
2. Poor coaching, Larry Brown coached the last Olympic team and while he is a very good coach with the right players, he didn't have those players and he is too stubborn to change
3. Different rules, the NBA/NCAA/high schools don't play by international rules so the nature of the game is different
This isn't a valid reason, but its also worth noting that the best US players haven't played since '96, the last few teams have been mostly second-tier stars
