Made by Ryan wieber who happens to be working for Lucas Art. The kid came up with a great way of doing lightsabers for everyday film makers, got noticed and offered a job for Lucas. He has been working on many "do it yourself" tutorials, including a 'bullet time' one using a camera and moving pole.
No wonder this is the best SW Fan film :p

Pretty old vid. The part where he breaks Dorkman's glasses is classic.

Didn't know Wieber was working for LucasArts now, that's interesting. Though are you sure he's not working for LucasFilm? LucasArts makes video games, not movies. Figured he'd be working in the moving picture industry.

cool effects, cool fighting, BAD ACTING, BAD LOOKS FOR THE FIGHTERS, they look like a bickering gay couple. the nerd at the end was gay sauce. If they went as far as to spend this kind of time making it, they should have gone a little further and had a cool set, and costumes, this just looks like nerds being even nerdier with no creative story idea. just fighting.
