The commercial was cooler.

I don't think these even qualify as Rube Goldberg Machines because they don't accomplish anything. Rube Goldberg's always do some mundane task like pour coffee or toast bread. These just draw your attention to a sign.

Just skip the first 1½ minutes with the fake anime opening title. Being a Japanese production, there's even a weird dance in the middle of the show.

I agree with Crash. Rube Goldberg Machines are supposed to acomplish a specific task through complex means. The only one that really comes close would be the first one, because it raises a flag. But that is still kinda pushing the meaning of a Rube Goldberg Machine.

Not necessarily, Rub Goldberg Machine's definition has kind of expanded to include things like this. Getting a series of simple machines to work together for a final goal, even if its to just get that "ita kura suruti" or whatever tf they're they're saying.

Some of these are pretty lame, but the first couple were pretty cool. I've made a RG machine that's better than most of these. Of course, it only worked once, but that's all that matters right? :D ............ Right?

the marbles floated cause they were in between two plates of glass or something angled wide at the end so that as the marbles traveled forward, they also went down. japanese are so amusing, i was laughing the whole time at the music and how they think they have to say the same thing after every machine is done, hilarious
