Indeed I was surprised he didn't get blasted, therefore I kind of doubt the 'authenticity' of the tape.

Meet The `Amazing Racist'

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- You've heard of "The Amazing Race" but a Los Angeles comedian is known as "the Amazing Racist."

When Ari Shaffir isn't appearing on stage at L.A. comedy clubs, he gets his kicks by purposely offending members of different minority and ethnic groups to see how they react to his "button-pushing."

For instance, he gets his kicks walking into mosques and trying to sell shirts that read, "My parents went to Mecca and all I got was this terrible body odor."

Some comedians claim they use racial humor to "break down barriers" but Shaffir says "That's a load. They just want the laugh."

Shaffir filmed many of his offensive encounters for a new DVD, "National Lampoon's Lost Reality," and is amazed how many victims of his racial slurs willingly signed release forms.

Still, he's even more shocked by the reactions of those he left out.

In his words, "I got gays and Asians telling me they're offended that I didn't try and get them -- but they're next."

lmao that was great. racism to me is funny. i never prejudge or stereotype but i find the shit fucking hilarious. kinda reminds me of when i went into a corner store in new york and some black guy and two of his friends were all "what do you want white boy?" i said "just a pack of cigs black boy" he said "what cracker?!" i said "nothing nigger." the funny thing is black guys tend to be more racist than the average joe white guy. yet they get away with it.

Although it may be fake, I still think racism is racism. And any humor found in stereotyping a person by his or her race or ethnicity should not be treated as a joke. I just think that it is best to respect other people as much as we respect ourselves. I just dont find any of this to be funny. Especially when it comes to making fun of my own race.

All these people signed releace forms. Therefore they ALL accepted that it was for a movie and not serious. If there are people in the general public that get pissy about it then that is the issue of the individual and that person needs to consider that it is all fiction and not reality. I need this guy to make more videos. I honestly can say the mexican video was one of the funniest videos I have ever seen in my life. I have never laughed harder in the 16 years of my life. This was funny however I wihs it had longer, I NEED MORE!!!!
