apparently you are, because if we allow this to go on reguardless of law restraints & moral obligations to the contrary then who are we?.

it is simply illegal & immoral to torture people without trial & without Habeas corpus - (a legal action, or writ, through which a person can seek relief from their unlawful detention or that of another person. It protects individuals from harming themselves or from being harmed by the judicial system).

torture is not a trival matter & Techniques such as: Waterboarding, Sleep Deprivation, Sensory Deprivation & Stress positions, not to mention Psychological Torture should never have been authorised.

`we don`t hinder more terrorists by doing these things, we embolden them`.

hogo, you are the perfect example people should reference when studying humans baser instincts. Study after study shows torture does NOT work. Its been proven counter productive. The only thing torture has done for the U.S is to decrease the public opinion of our country. Oh and made the world a more dangerous place for its citizens out of the states. This hatred you express for terrorists while understandable. Isn`t helpful or worth while. If all it can boil down to is blind anger and the willing harm of others. It is best just disguarded.

Have you really ever tried to find out why they attacked us? instead of running on the war path with your eyes closed. The point is all your anger and hostility towards them will not solve one single thing. all that will happen is more death and suffering on both sides. Just look back over the past 8 years or so.

Stress Positions - also known as submission positions, place the human body in such a way that a great amount of weight is placed on just one or two muscles. might not be common knowledge yet and I dont see any dates on this clip, but they are called black sites.

And Bush acknowledged their existence back in Sept. 6, 2006 and that they were being moved to Guantanamo Bay. Obama ordered the black sites closed in January 2009.
