The truth is usually more funny than lies. EX: Chris Rock is funny because he tells truths that people don't usually mention.

This guy was hunting pheasant not quail. Wild Pheasants are a challenging hunt, but they don't have Pheasant down in South Texas where Cheney was hunting. These Pheasant were pin raised and not much of a challenge.

People do raise quail in pens but then release them to live wild before the season. They feed them to keep them in the area.

New Yorker Stewart was making fun of Cheney a man with a heart condition for driving to the hunting spot, but fails to mention that the Ranch that Cheney was on was over 100 sq. miles. Anything smaller than Manhatan Island is a hobby farm out here. How many fit New Yorkers walk everywhere they go?

...and another thing....those farms are a joke.....if you need to pay someone to put birds out and use "rented dogs" youre not a hunter....youre a joke......so anyone that likes to do this type of hunting....youre a joke .....come up to north dakota and see what real pheasant hunting about.....losers

Cavedude, I have never been on one of those joints in my life. I would love to go up to North Dakota and go Pheasant hunting with you, anytime.

Gotta understand the terrian of Southwest Texas though. There's alot of cover and mistakes happen. I do take offense at a big city New Yorker making fun of the misfortunes of others practicing something that he does not understand.

Am I taking Cheney's side? I don't think so. I do not think that I want to go hunting with Dick Cheney anymore than I want to go drinking and driving with Ted Kennedy, although I guess my chances of surviving are better with Cheney, at least he would call me an ambulance after he shot me rather than pulling a Kennedy and leaving me to drown in Chappaquidick while he sobered up.
