I`d love to see Fedor in the UFC...

The only problem is that he knows everybody wants to see him fight. That translates into big dollars. Dana White is not into paying out big dollars, no matter who the fighter is.

IMO I think Fedor would have too much to lose for too little gain by going to the UFC heavy weight division. Watching The way Bret Rogers used the cage to bully Fedor in the clinch and then use the cage for ground n pound makes me wonder how Fedor would do against the UFCs big wrestlers in the cage. Don`t get me wrong I think that Fedor is the greatest fighter on the planet. BUT there is a reason for weight classes. Fedor weighs 230 tops and Brock Lesnar would step into the cage around 275 after he rehydrates post weigh in. Don`t use the Hong Man Choy excuse to justify Fedor fighting guys weighing much more that him.
I would like to see Fedor cut some weight and fight at 205. He could very easily make the cut as he isn`t exactly ripped right now. Then he could go to the UFC and Dana could set up a Super Fight with Anderson Silva after Fedor cleans out the division. The only thing Fedor could possibly add to his legacy now is to finish the PFP debate going on in some circles once and for all. Fighting for the UFC at 205 would do that and it wouldn`t put the same stress on Fedors body as fighting in the Heavy division. Less stress = longer Career = every body gets to see more Fedor fights

Just to set all doubt aside I think Fedor would beat Brock. But because of Brocks size the fight would be a close one and even if Fedor wins a close match it would imo be considered a loss for him. Unless fedor absolutly dominates every fight he has from now until he retires retarded people would be like "Oh fedor is good but he`s no Anderson Silva".

I know that Fedor doesn`t care about PFP or anything like that he`s kinda like Ryu as he just wants to fight.

"when he walks into the ring, he looks like hes going to get his hair cut" HAHAHA. you know youve accomplished something in your life when you have a fourty minute documentary about you called "the baddest man on the planet"

also i heard that fedor didnt come to the ufc because he likes doing sambo competitions in russia, but dana whites contract for him said that he couldnt compete in those because of the high chance of injury fedor would have. fedor still wants to be able to compete in those though so he declined a ufc contract. dont know how true it is but thats what ive heard.

I saw a video of Dana White explaining why Fedor wouldn`t be joining the UFC. It would appear that his manager wanted a partial ownership of UFC to make it happen. Dana basically told him to piss up a rope. He offered more money than he has ever offered to any other fighter and they turned it down asking for the unrealistic request. Fedor is awesome, but he isn`t worth what the manager wanted. Blame that greedy bastard.

They wanted dual promotion, basically UFC would have to promote the management behind Fedor, and UFC at the same time basically something that strikeforce agreed to do.

In addition to being the baddest man on the planet, he`s also the nicest, most sincere man I`ve ever seen. What a killer combination.

I think it is so funny how everyone has a boner for Fedor now. Most people have never seen his fights with Cro Cop, Nog, Fugita etc. The fights that made him great. Same thing is happening with Shogun. No one knew his past, so no one gave him a chance against Machida... Man I miss PrideFC.

Fedor is not in the ufc because of the co-promotion demands (mentioned above). D. White agreed to Fedor competing in sambo competitions and basically everything else, as well as a very generous amount of money. M1-Global, the company who manages Fedor, and I beleive he is also a part owner of, wanted to co-promote with the UFC. The UFC made MMA what it is today, and that request is completely unfair.

^Rowdy Tavern: You are right, Fedor is to skilled to be beat by Lesnar, and the thing with Silva being "P4P best" is that he has lost to some bums, while Fedor has never really lost.

Emelianenko 31 - 1 - 0 (Loss due to cuts)
A. Silva 25 - 4 - 0
St. Pierre 19 - 2 - 0

I`ve had business dealing with Russians and I know that sometimes there negotiating tactics include making a totally unreasonable request so that its YOU that backs out of the deal.
This way it appears that you are the one being unreasonable.

Dana White places UFC concerns above what fans want to see, which is the best fighters competing against each other, regardless of governing promotions. We should have learned from boxing that it doesn`t work, it`s the beginning of corruption of the sport and while it`ll work for a while, another sport or organization will fill that void.
